EAD has nothing to do with finger printing. People are getting EAD cards even before they go to their scheduled finger printing appointments. You will get your card 10-12 days after finger printing notice.
My wife's finger printing fee was rejected last month, even though we submitted the right fee.
We still submitted the fee again. In the mean while, we got our finger printing notices.
Do u know when we would get our EADs ? Is anyone in a similar situation ?

Hey Guys
I also recieved "Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured and mailed" in my mail and I am wondering if anyone with case similar to mine has any answer on this.
I applied "I130 Immigrant Petition For Relative" on Apr. 04.
What could be the message on my case?
Please advise me on what shall I expect?

As per my reading one can re-enter on AP. But do remember that the CBP officer at the port of entry notices that once case is under security check or something he may create issues. But in general i don't think this is the case. One of my friend who was stuck with security check entered using AP. I know him personally so this is for fact happend.
As per several murthy chat items, Sheela Murthy also thinks one can enter on AP if their H1B visa stamp is rejected to getting delayed.
But do remember that, your status will change from H1B to PAROLE once you enter using AP. But hey, you can alwyas change it back to H1B once you get the visa.
One of my personal concerns about this approach (for which i don't have concrete answer), does the consulate consider your visa applicaton abondoned if they find out that the candidate has entered US?

If it is EB2, forget about it. EB2 and 3 yr degree is big No No. If it is EB3 (seems unlikely as you filed in 04/2007 and EB3 was not current) consult good lawyer and file MTR.

- There was no response even after 60 days, so we called and created a service request.
- Finally the 140 has been denied today. I did not get the notice yet. I'm thinking, it is because of Education mismatch
The labor was for 4years degree and I have 3 years degree + 1 year post graduate diploma with 8 years experience by the time filing 140. And I did my masters in US, but I got this after couple of months of I filed my 140.
Please advice what are options available for me.

really iv members- no one should have to beg for a couple of hours of your time. this affects us all. it's really a small request- a booth at a diwali mela...now that is hardly the worst thing you could do with your life and time. please don't reduce your leaders to this.

We live in business world. Bright Companies pay salary at bad economic times to retain skilled employees. Desi companies pay more even during bench to retain employees, american companies dont and lay them off. That is precicly the reason desi companies succeed.
where is Gandhi's quote that says dont draw salary during bench time.
On the other hand he has said

Infact ateast I am open and willing to ask people before taking any unethical step or wrong step...!

some where i read that USCIS follow FIFO for 485 under normal conditions. so if that is the case irrespective of PD who ever applies 485 first whose application will be processed first right? i am not sure on this that's why i asked this question.

My case was also transferred to CSC. The transfer notice has a different receipt date than the receipt notice. MY case is now transferred back to NSC.
I would like to know if anybody of you have received finger print notice. I have not received it yet.
No FP, or any other communication whatsoever. Just the transfer notice.

I took a new job and transferred my H1B with new employer. But my GC process is with the same old employer and his attorney. Do I now have to file AC21 ? I changed my job with new responsibilities.
It is your choice if you want to invoke AC21 or not. A lot of people (like me) do not inform USCIS and change job after 180 day of filing 485 and wait to either get GC or to get an RFE.
Some people dont want RFE at the time when PD is current for them and hence send out letter to USCIS about job change invoking AC21.
There is no right or wrong thing and one choses what he/she feels good about + whatever attorney suggests. You can decide for yourself what you want to do.

one more question... if I reenter using my AP then IO always take you to some place/room to verify something or its sometimes/randomly only? I just realize that my connection time while coming back from one airport(POE) to another is just 2 hours.
I can tell you right now that 2 hrs is not enough time for your connection flight and it is NOT RANDOM.its for all AP holders
