As far as putting limitations on digital content, that's their right. It is _their_ content. If they make the wrong decision, they'll come around when someone smarter makes the right one.
I think this is just the point. Thay have made the wrong decisions. Again and again. We now have a situation where all of the DRM incentives so far actually stimulate piracy. Because circumventing the rights management results in a better consumer experience.
Here's an example.
I own hundreds of DVDs - I was a classic early adopter. I like to get movies early. I live in the UK and the movie studios like to release movies later in Europe. So I own a large collection of Region 1 DVDs. I also rent a lot of DVDs perhaps 3 or 4 per week. These are all Region 2.
But the DVD drives in Apple computers are all region-locked. Five changes and that is it. So you have to pick. Rented disks or dvd collection.
So thanks to a studio-imposed attempt to control the market. They are undermining my legitimate enjoyment of my own movie collection. I do not feel grateful to them for this. It might be their right - but it is morally wrong.
As a customer I resent their interference. I regret paying for so many disks because my experience has been soured. If you are a loyal customer, your loyalty should be rewarded and not punished.
The way to beat piracy is to identify loyal paying customers, and guarantee them a better, more convenient, more rewarding experience. Send them newsletters. Give paying customers free iPod versions. Give them behind the scenes extras. Shiny boxes, free competitions. Reward them for paying.
But instead they are so terrified of piracy, that publishers are willing to ruin the experience of paying customers in the impossible hope that it will slow down the access of non-paying customers.
Consumers punish this sort of behavior. And they have a right to do that - even if its only a moral right and not a legal right.

Does AT&T now give A-list with the 700 minute Nation Family Talk plan? The website has a plus next to it indicating it does?
Does anyone know for sure?
I'm curious about this as well. Has anyone with the 700 minute Family Talk successfully gotten the A-List feature? If so, was it online or did you have to call?

The Golf is going to remain the European version as far as I've heard. The Jetta is no longer the 'Golf with a trunk', but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's getting it's own identity, even if it's a little dull for the time being. The new Passat basically looks like a larger Jetta.
I've had my Golf TDI for 10 years (bought new in 2/2001), and it's been a wonderful car for 215K miles. This last tank I got 47mpg. I would definitely buy another one.

So sad to see cars getting huge front and rears, and the trunk and hoods seem to be 1 ft+ above the wheel wells. Ugly IMO. Bring back low slung cars like the older Jags...
I'll buy used before getting something bloated like above. (though I prefer to buy used anyway....)So sad that cars in that price range are STILL only 200ish HP.... Though to be honest, I hate when people speed in a non-sports car....

As my previous noted, call ATT to make the change until they fix the website process...go to your online account and you'll see the + delineation beside A-List Nation 700 as my attachment shows as of today.

Really? hahahahahah. What a ********** loser. "I don't care if you think I'm wrong and I'll shoot you with my big bad firearm collection. Look at the pretty pictures of it! I'm awesome and badass!" Internet badasses are about as lame as they come. Bwaahahaha.
Lets all quit feeding the troll, no one ever said they were going to visit him.
And even if one of his victims wanted to meet him to straighten things out peacefully, and he invited them to his house, and shot them, he would need to prove the person meant to harm or kill him, which given the victim came in peace with no weapon or intent, is impossible, that dumbass will be in jail before he's 25 cause he thinks he can shoot people for fun.

If I hold a business licence is it ok to offer repair services on craigslist? I am not certified by Apple to do so. Can I get in any legal trouble for this or is it simply that Apple will no longer warranty the product?

Open Date & Time in System Preferences, and then under the Date & Time tab see if it's set to set time automatically and if you have the correct region selected from the pull down menu. Also make sure you have the correct time zone selected in the next tab.
**EDIT**
If that doesn't do anything maybe try reseting the PRAM (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=2238)

^^^ Seriously? However, Datsun did specifically model it with an American muscle flair, but properly done as they are small and lightweight.
Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_S30
The 240z was made from 70-73. At 2300lbs, and 350 small block really is a drop in, with 300+hp its DAMN fun. I drove one not to long ago that was estimated at 450hp, which really was just nutty scary. Still, with a healthy stock motor, they are much fun.
Stock they still look great, but not as tits when the front and rear racing bits are on:

Japanese Mac users get first OS X-friendly Blu-ray burner from Logitech mid-August (http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2006/08/02/logitec_mac_blu-ray_disc_burner/). Only $1148 folks. I guess somebody's gotta start somewhere. At least we know they are really almost for sale somewhere on planet Earth. ;) Comes with Blu-ray version of Toast 7 Titanium.
"Logitec also said the drive - dubbed the LBD-A2FU2/WM - will support DVD-RAM, DVDR/RW, dual-layer DVDR and CD-R/RW discs. The unit has both USB 2.0 and Firewire interfaces on board."
Wonder how much these burners will cost this time next summer?
For $1148 you can buy 4 Terabytes of Hard Drives today. That would be eighty 50GB Blu-ray discs @ $50 each would be $4,000 for the blank media to record 4 Terabytes. $1,000 per Terabyte Vs. $250 per Terabyte of HD storage. I just don't get the economics of this Blu-ray thing at all.

Only Apple knows if they will replace it or repair it, but a replacement will be refurbished - these still appear in the online store.
