Honestly I would have been flattered if asked. But like LBJ, if nominated I would not run, if elected I would not serve (at least at this point). For as evident by my posts over the past few days, my new job and new outlook as to what I find important has changed. In the end I think that active members like myself also serve a purpose, as much as those that are in a mod status.
I am glad that we have a couple EU members as mods in some degree.

Who is going and what time are you getting there? I hear from mall security that doors will not open to the mall until 6am and that no lines will be allowed to form outside the mall before then :-/

Come on people its a contract. You signed it and agreed to a two year commitment. Now you are all pissed when they want to charge you $50 to buy a brand new phone months earlier than you contract normally would allow you to? Give me a break

I'm on iTunes 10.1.2 now. I have an iPad1 on 4.2.1 fw and jailbroken.
Tomorrow! I'm getting an iPad 2 on 4.3 fw which I assume requires iTunes 10.2.1.

Unlike most of you spoiled punks who never owned an Atari or played in a real arcade, I did and this game ROCKS! $15 for chunk o' games is nothing unless you're still living off yer mama's teet. Yes you are certainly charging way too little. My basic sites start at $500 and go up from there depending on what the client wants. Usually I charge it by the job and in some cases, there will be add on's and I usually charge $50-$75 per hour for that work. I have a few NPO's and for them I start my quotes to them at $300 for the job.
From the sounds of this guy you're dealing with, I would just move on and forget him. Finish whatever you've started and end it there.

That's what growl does? I've only ever seen/ heard about it in the Proteus message boards
All it does is to provide a service for applications to notify users of events.
Like using an applescript that Growl provides, whenever I get a new email i'll have a bubble pop up informing me which account received a new email, who is it from and the subject title.
As I said you'll have to try it to love it. And check out their list of applications that use growl. ;)

As someone is sure to have said already, maybe this just means they won't be making the screen any bigger, and will just be using the same panel. Maybe all of these "edge to edge" screen rumors just mean that the phone will actually shrink in width or height?

Yeah, the whole 2G = 2nd Generation thing is getting old. Most people with any sense can discern 2G from 2GB, but that's assuming that most people have any sense, which sadly isn't the case.
(I don't get it; when people say they have a 120 Gigabyte Hard Drive in their computer, they always say "120GB," not "120G." So why get confused at "2G iPod?" It's simply confounding!)
Even with clarification, people still foul it up. I concur with recommending to referring to it as the G2 Shuffle, or even "new iPod shuffle" as Apple refers to it on their site.
I'd recommend naming it "clippy" but well... that would just start a whole new debacle!

In my mind it's still free. No it's not freeware but you can use it and get some productivity out of it even if it's only for a limited time. Thus free.

This does not sound right. I do not see any reason that you would lose your corporate discount for changing to a new feature. You may not get a discount on that feature but you regular rate plan should still receive the discount.
