Call your employer and ask him for all these documents. These are agreements between your employer and client. He should have these.

A Memorandum of Marriage is different from the Certificate of Marriage.
A Memorandum of Marriage is required to obtain a Marriage Certificate.
Here is a sample (Schedule A) of the Memorandum of Marriage.
You will need to obtain one from your local Marriage Court.

I would say, the marriage certificate, a notarized copy of the Memorandum of Marriage from India, with some additional proof, like photos, invites', etc should suffice.
To avoid the RFE, will it be okay to get registered at the local county in US?
I think during the time of economic recession, USCIS is trying to help survive the immigration lawyers,. At present there are less cases of new H1B as the quote is still open. My lawyer sends me some past invoices in between. LOL

You need to be aware that there are state and federal laws. Usually complaints are filed with state DOL when employer did not pay salary or performed unlawful deduction. If employer violates H1B/GC laws, you can complain to federal DOL. The same story with filing complaint with the state court or federal court.

My h1 started in 2009 October which means I have 4 years and 9 months more of h1 left with me
Do you think moving to a new company should be a better idea?
considering the fact that my application would be rejected eventually?
any new company would also take a year to start my application and would mostly take 6 months to get a new job! effectively I would have 3 years of h1 cycle 2 for the new one
should i just wait and see if i get audited and if I do just move to a new place?
What would be my best bet?

like many of you i am waiting to file my I-485. My attorney didn't file mine once news was out on july 2nd. and now i am going to india on 19th July as my mother is in serious condition and coming back on 3rd august.

I have a similar situation. Same Company, Same position Name. Different Job Requirements & Job Description. Old Labor RIR EB3 (PD 2003). New Labor EB2 PERM.
My Lawyer seems to be comfortable & Confident. He is the one suggested this approach. Earlier I requested if we could apply for a different position with the same company. He decided to go with above approach and felt confident about it and also advocated the above to be a right and easy approach.
I am not a lawyer. But our company lawyer is very experienced and has big clients in Silicon Valley. Also He has done a lot of H1/Labor/Green Card for our company itself and hence I have confidence in him.
Hope this is helpful. People please let me know if as per your information this could be inappropriate. If that is the case I want to raise this at the right time as the labor application is still in a very initial stage.

There are basically three options in your wife's case: Do nothing, file MTR, or travel abroad to obtain visa. It is not possible to evaluate these options without knowing the basis for the denial. Knowing whether or not your wife has a pending AOS along with a valid AP is also essential for making any recommendation about how to proceed.

I don't think he is here to be tried in public by idiots like you. Why is this site full of self righteous punks who reply back to put others down. I saw similar set of replies for a woman who sought help regarding her status for entering the country without passport from Canada (which was legal pre 9/11) and then divorcing the dude she was married to. Some righteous pricks called her names and gave red dots generously.
Seriously if you don't have constructive advise just keep your mouth shut. Nobody needs you to bring your vigilantism and judgement ion other people. A few too many pricks are the reason a lot of us get turned off of this site.

You have only 2 options:
Either postpone your vacations or get new visa stamping on your passport.
If opting for new visa stamping on your passport then mentally prepared to stay for a bit longer time if in case.
Better ask your attorney, I believe he will suggest you the same.
