Thanks all who replied to my thread. I am contacting Air France regarding this transit crap. I will post my experience on this forum, when I get answer from Airline.
One thing is for sure, I will never again travel by Air france, BA and Lufthansa.

Most of the time non compete is enforced on direct competitor(s) and not on all companies. They dont want you to quit and join their direct competitor and reveal your trade secrets and this will stand in the court as I know somebody who was directly affected by this and he had to turn down a very good offer.
Also companies can change non compete any time.
since non compete was not required at time of joining the job, I don't see any way where at time of leaving they can force a overly broad condition. imagine if you working in a software company and they make you sign agreement, AT TIME OF LEAVING, that you can not work in same industry for next 5 years, what are you gonna do ? flip burgers for next 5 years ?

All depends on spillover; it�s basically "NO SPILLOVER NO CHANGE". So just hoping for spillover to happen. I believe that the current bulletin might just come out late this week or early next week.
I don't know why I received reds for my post, anyways I respect the opinion of members, I understand that everybody is genuinely pained and suffering so it�s really not anger directed at anybody but the current situation in which we are. My humble opinion is that for any significant noteworthy movement the spillover must happen for individuals belonging to retrogressed countries. Spillover does not really harm anybody. I believe that it�s always better to have ones expectation set correctly rather than expect too much and be disappointed on the day the VB is released. The more the queue moves the better for all, CIR or Recapture are the two genuine solutions to alleviate everybody's pain and suffering. Good luck to all.
I have one observation that the time the Jan VB was released and the inventory report date kind of match up and since no numbers were available there was no change. If we are going to still have the incremental monthly or quarterly allocation for the retrogressed countries we will still see no change or really no significant change. The spillover for now is the anti-biotic or quick fix; it�s really not the cure or the remedy but it will give a great feeling to many who will get greened sooner and hope to others who are behind.

While even I, as a layman, know that the B-1/B-2 visa is not tied to a sponsor, I also know that mere possession of a valid visa is not sufficient grounds for the entry of a foreigner into the US. A lot rests at the discretion of the USCIS Immigration Officer at the port of entry.
If I were you, I would err on the side of caution. Please consult a lawyer - you can get these questions answered for free by asking the attorney Sonal Mehta Verma, who periodically gives gratis legal advice to IV members. Good luck!

I just transferred to a new employer in my 7th year. All you need is a copy of the approved I-140.
DO not give a notice to your current employer until the new H1 is approved. Also, apply for premium processing.

I paper filed at TSC on Dec16th got approval on Jan11th, the pace is pretty good considering the holidays in between.
There are several factor which helps aid in faster processing of the applications, mainly the required docs has to be in order and complete.

Sorry Man I never posted a reply to the substituting for gradients. But your latter image was much better with image swap (instead of gradient). Doing your navigation in flash would be an excellent idea (instead of mapped images). I am thinking of writing a tut on how to make better gradients without using gradients....you think peeps would be interested? This technique has produced astounding results for me....I am trying to work on the grunge thing I jsu cannot produce anything cool....by the way me2 is very cool.

I am just curious what exactly you want to know. Do you want to know when you will get your GC or about the receipts.
If you are looking for receipts, there is a thread going on for July filers by the name "July Trackers".
If you want to know when you will get your GC then i am sorry to say, even GOD cannot give you an idea.

I am on same boat. Mine and my wife case also transfered from Texas to Orlando,FL.My PD is EB2 sep06 and we filed 485 July2nd'07.140 approved in March07.
We never worked in FL state.
My case is tranfered on 8th April'08 and a LUD today(9th April 08).
Praveen , Same situation i guess. There was a LUD yesterday on both (me and my wife case).. No Idea what they are trying to do.
