Please note that, this is no more the issue of not-paying me at all-- He cleverly cleared recently the amount which is stated on my LCA H1. What he is actually withholding, is the difference of this and the actual salary (percentage) that was agreed upon, at that time.
Then I am afraid you have no case. If the vendor has paid your employer and he is not paying you after you told them you are quitting then it is unethical, but legal, sometimes I wonder how do they even feed their family and clothe them with all this ill gotten money.

I didn't receive any confirmation from USCIS regarding interfiling.
Interfiling was submitted on Jan15th - On Feb 15th my case status was updated as "Denial Notice Sent"

I am not sure what you mean by there is no issue with my EAD.
Here is an excerpt from an USCIS FAQ
Who is eligible for an EAD that is valid for two years?
The two-year EAD is available to pending adjustment applicants (i.e., those who have filed a Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status) who have filed for an EAD under Section 274.a.12(c)(9) of Title 8, Code of Federal Regulations (8 C.F.R.) and who are currently unable to adjust status because an immigrant visa number is not currently available. USCIS will continue to grant EADs that are valid for one-year for adjustment applicants who have an available immigrant visa number and are filing for employment authorization under 8 C.F.R. Hi
Am in the same situation, 221(g) yellow form Mumbai since mid-November. Still in India awaiting further indication from the consulate. Have had lawyers call DOS, have called the consulate a few times but the response is standard - awaiting feedback from Washington, no way to expedite.

You got to ignore some of these statuses from certain IOs. I went for infopass end of may and I was told namecheck is pending. When i said it does not matter anymore since it has passed 180 days, he mentioned that its not official yet and gave me a document describing name check process which mentioned something about N-400 which i believe is for FB. Talked to IO over the phone a week later and I was told that its assigned to the officer and Visa Number also assigned. Got the Card Production Ordered email next day.

Just spoke with a TSC IO. She was a pretty nice lady and answered all my questions. Apparently, mine and my spouse's AP were approved on 10/17/2007. We still didn't receive the APs. The online status still shows pending. I believe my attorney may receive the AP docs.
I've asked her about my Name Check and Fingerprint. According to her my name check was initiated on 8/9/2007 and it is pending. My FBI fingerprint check came back on 9/10/2007.

I had same message for the I-485 but my EAD is approved. i called NSC about the FP print notice and they said it is issued in error and everything is fine. i have FP appointment on 10/05. So i think you just give a call and check with USCIS.

I called TSC, mine and my wife's application is pending secrutiy clearance.

Under the US immigration system, non-US citizen applicants for admission to the US have the burden of proving to the CBP officer at the POE that they meet all of the requirements for admission in a particular visa category. Thus, if a B-2 visitor is unable to prove that she is a bona fide visitor with plans to return abroad to an unrelinquished domicile, the CBP officer has the authority deny her entry. If the applicant has a visa (as opposed to applying to enter pursuant to the visa waiver program), she has the right to request a hearing before an Immigration Judge. However, she could be detained in immigration custody for several days or even weeks waiting for the hearing.

I read an answer written by an immigration lawyer about this type of situation and according to him once the divorce is final the conditional green card is invalid effective that day. That means that the immigrant spouse becomes out of status and would lose her right to work. Because of this the immigrant spouse should apply for a waiver right away once the divorce is final. Staying here and working while being out of status can cause problems of its own.
It's generally true that getting divorced does not affect one's green card. The exception however is when a person has a conditional marriage based green card and gets divorced before the conditions are removed.

Their site does not list "Retrogression" as an issue faced by Indians in EB catagory.
I was urging members to contact any of the indian organizations listed as links to get support for our cause. These organizations are either formed by groups of professionals in a occupation or by regional groups from india. We have already got support from Indian Physician association and it helped us a lot when we went to meet lawmakers or spoke with the media. Likewise if other members could make individual efforts, it will be greatly appreciated.

I agree most probably you were granted the visa and I can understand why you did not ask the lady whether you were granted the visa or not. It can become very intimidating and painful when dealing with people who use such positions to harass others. They tend to put all their troubles onto the folks who have to come before them helpless. There are avenues to complain but really does that help?
Again I very strongly feel that since the lady did not give any specific reason to deny your visas (which is often required) nor did she give any yellow/blue/green whatever papers, you/family were granted visas. So cheer up and remain very optimistic. Let us know when you recieve the visas.

I moved from Austin to Dallas and changed my address online using AR-11 and also updated the pending I-485 with the new address online. It was very easy and within a week I got a letter from USCIS saying that my address is updated on the application. As others said it is by law to inform the change of address in 10 or 11 days after the move. I don't think you have to worry about any delays if you change the address.

Updating USCIS using form AR-11 within 11 days is required by law. Can be done online, allows the option to update pending cases with a different mailing address such as PO Box that is different from the home address. AR-11 requires the actual physical home address.
In any event, should call USCIS to confirm change of address on pending applications.
