Even with the new update today I still couldn't log in, it wasn't until I turned off BiteSMSsb in Mobilesubstrate via SBsettings and the Facebook app finally worked!

With the Xserve getting canned, it's likely that Apple will shift Lion server hard towards SOHO needs and further away from the needs of larger enterprise environments.

Every little bit helps. But what we really need is people with 8 cores plus (virtual, desktop machine) running bigadv, at least until faster GPU and/or a GPU client for mac.

We have lost more active users since I started this thread :( Come on every one, every bit helps. Hell if we had 1000 users folding 100 points a day that would go a long way, and for those who don't fold 100 points is not that hard for a modern computer :)

Another event, yet another disappointment.
Personally all I wanted was iLife integration and from the looks of things I got that. Everything else is just a welcomed bonus.

But you can now set it up to check and EXTERNAL POP email account and filter it into a folder - this is invaluable to me - worth every dollar I'm spending on .mac

I worked for what was then called Cingular and was in the New York section, and I can honestly tell you New Yorkers are a breed of their own. We got calls constantly about dropped signals, but when probed it was because they were in a subway. Towers are abundant in the NYC area so it is amazing they have discontinued them.
New Yorkers probably and appreciate the iPhone more than anyone else who has them.

As ITR 81 already mentioned, they are already often selling at below their cost to attract customers. They don't have any room to go lower unless the studios drop their prices.

As a proponent of the capitalism and free markets, I buy superior products at the best bargain possible with no significant concern as to where it was built. My first car as a teenager was a hand-me-down Buick, the first one I bought with my own money was a Toyota, and today I drive a Honda. In the free market, the superior business deserves to win, consumers vote with their wallets. Maybe if people who buy cars only for the name and because it was (or is perceived) to be built in America would have stopped this insanity 30 years ago, we'd have American car companies more able to compete today. Instead, we've coddled them, allowed them to produce often inferior products while subsidizing the overpaid unions. We've given up on common sense for the sake of irrational pride.
That being said, I will say that there are many great American automobiles. Anyone who says there aren't any, doesn't know what they're talking about... especially in the large-truck division, American technology still rules supreme.

This survey is seriously flawed. I've been unable to secure an AT&T iPad within the 3 stores near me.
Verizon iPad? They have them, at all combinations. Wi-Fi? Hit and Miss, but AT&T iPads are gone.

Isnt Jobs a vegan? Cancer or not, not eating any animal products whatsoever is going to make you quite thin. If for no other reason than most things have animal products thus there just isnt a lot to eat.
Personally, I so wish that was true. But in reality, not all fat persons eat meat, and not all skinny people are vegetarians.
You can be a vegan and still stuff yourself full with carbonates, sugar and lots of different fats.

in general, how long does it take to apply a patent from US Patent and Trademark Office? I am just wondering why apple got the approval within such short period of time? paid premium fee?
