Does any one know if it will also be applicable to someone with end of 9th year H1B? I have been getting annual H1Bs fro the past 3 years now, I was wondering if I will be eligible for I-140 premium.
Is Premium Processing of 140 for 9yrs Applicable H1B & 485 pending from June 16th 2008 ?

Sorry if this question has been answered already. I searched and could not find any related threads.
My H1B is expiring in December (6 years). My 140 is approved and 485 is pending. I have my EAD card but still working on H1B. I can get a 3 year extension for my H1b as 140 is approved.
My priority date is Feb 2007.
Is it a good idea to renew my H1B even though I already have My EAD?
If I get the H1B extension, would I need visa stamping or can I use AP travel document and still be on H1B?

I filed my 485 application on July 2nd. But my employer/lawyer did not attach the employment verification letter in the package. Is USCIS going to reject my application because of that or they will send an RFE. Please advise..

Your stay in the US had not made you white yet, so carry your documents. At one time, I was traveling from Albany to Potsdam (Way Upstate NY) and I was stopped. I had all of my papers labeled and arranged neatly and the official exclaimed that I was well prepared. Uhh.. yeah.
b. Do not make photocopies of official US Documents. Its a violation. The official will understand why you made a copy, but ITS A VIOLATION. On that note, please do make a photocopy. It helps the border agent to verify your status using the document number on the photocopied documents. Secretly, he will thank you that you had your document (either original or photocopied) and will warn you to not make copies and its a violation. I personally do make photocopies. Why? See the first half of my sarcastic write up.
c. Your passport along with visa stamp page is the most important thing a Border agent would want to see. If you go to school in a 50 mile radius, your School ID along with your passport and definitely a copy of I-20 is a must.
d. If you decide not to do any of the above, keep getting pulled over a few times in a week for a month and the next time you do pass by a check post, they will high-five you and let you through.

We came back yesterday May 1st, my wife's stamp is only until May 31st and mine until Aug 30th but we had the extended approval notices. Both H1s. We both got stamped until the end of the extension date on the I 797. I don't think you'll have any problem.

In a meeting when you say that it means you either don't have a clue or you don't want to talk about it as it either is less important than what ever else you have to say or it will only prove how inefficient you are.
However, when you say that to the Senate committee it means that you will have to get back with at least a 3-10 page report. It would have helped had Myorkas been more supportive upfront but what the heck... The Senators already know the answer anyway. They were just asking for support from Myorkas.
